David P. Miles is the president of The H & R Block Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2002, David was a member of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. He assisted donors in accomplishing their charitable goals by making sure they received maximum financial benefit in charitable giving and aligning their values and the needs of the community. David also has more than eight years of experience implementing strategies and providing leadership to increase the commitment and participation of alumni in financial support and volunteer involvement at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Missouri-Columbia, and Stephens College.

Carey Wilkerson is the vice president and secretary of The H & R Block Foundation. Carey is responsible for the Foundation's grantmaking in the areas of arts and culture, education, and health, and provides oversight of the Henry W. Bloch Scholars Program. She represents the Foundation on collaborative grantmaking initiatives including the Early Education Funders Collaborative, the Heart of America Community AIDS Partnership, and the United Way of Greater Kansas City. Carey began her professional career in 1986 as a special education teacher at Genesis School, a former alternative school serving high-risk youth, and was the school's deputy director prior to joining the Foundation in 1999. She graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and earned a master's degree in behavior disorders and learning disabilities from the University of Kansas.

Jean-Paul Chaurand is the executive vice president of The H & R Block Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2016, Jean-Paul was the chief operating officer at the Guadalupe Centers and the senior vice president for community investment at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. Jean-Paul serves on the boards of Children's Mercy Hospital and AltCap.

Kris Wilcoxson prior to joining the Foundation, Kris worked in public accounting focusing on income tax preparation, business process improvement, and administrative consulting for numerous clients throughout the Kansas City area. She has also been involved with accounting for private foundations for nineteen years. Kris graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a BSBA in accounting, passed the CPA exam in 1999, and holds an active license to practice in Missouri.

Rachel Carlton is the office and grants manager of The H & R Block Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2017, Rachel was a senior program officer at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she managed grants to organizations that educate and support entrepreneurs across the United States. In 2011, Rachel returned to her hometown of Kansas City after having lived in San Francisco and New York City since the mid-1990's, where she enjoyed a career as an executive assistant to CEO's in a variety of industries, including hospitality, higher education, and city government.

Kasie Becker is the office coordinator of The H & R Block Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2018, Kasie worked in administration at the Cotsen Foundation for the ART of TEACHING and the Cotsen Foundation for Academic Research in Los Angeles, California. Earlier in her career, she worked for a media technology startup as a public relations manager. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Kasie lived in San Diego and Los Angeles for a decade before to moving to Kansas City.
